What is the difference between a designer and a developer?
A designer focuses on the visual 'design' of the site while a developer writes the code for the website to work on using the design framework. We use these terms interchangeably because we do both. Your dedicated designer/developer both designs and programs your site. This means that you communicate directly with the person putting your site together - no middleman.
What is a 2-year domain name?
Each of our prepacked plans (Standard, Premium and Ultimate) include a two-year domain name. What this means is that your domain name is good for two years; after that you will need to renew. The current cost to renew a domain name for two years is $50. You can also choose to purchase a domain name for more than two years. Your designer will discuss this with you during your initial consultation.
Will you create the content for my website?
The information about your organization, products and/or services will be provided by you, the client. Your designer will work with you to incorporate this information into the site or you may choose to give the designer what you would like written word for word.
We offer a large selection of stock images, which are included in the price of our web design services, however, we strongly encourage our clients to provide their own images to help make their site as unique as possible. We do contract with a third party to offer our clients photography services, however, there is an additional fee for this service.

How many revisions are included?
Unlike most web design firms, we offer unlimited revisions during the initial design process. Once the designer has completed the site to your satisfaction, any changes to the site will be subject to a fee (unless you have purchased a maintenance plan or had it included with the purchase of a prepacked plan).
What is your turnaround time?
This will vary based on the complexity of your site and the number of revisions. For most of our clients, the average turnaround time is twelve weeks, while a very complex eCommerce site may take up to six months. During your initial consultation, you and your designer will discuss a timeline for your site.
How will I communicate with my web designer/developer?
We offer our clients many ways to communicate with us: phone, email, text message, Facetime, Skype, or in person. However, at this time, in-person is only available to clients who live in or around the Green Bay, WI area or who are willing to travel to the area. We do recommend that the initial consultation take place via in person, Facetime or Skype as this ensures the best communication between you and your designer which reduces the number of revisions later on in the process.
Will I pay any additional fees for hosting?
Each of our prepackaged plans include 1 year of hosting. After that first year, you have the option to renew for another year. Unlike most companies, we will not hold onto your payment information and automatically renew our services for you. About a month prior to when your one year ends, we will reach out to discuss renewal.
Current annual hosting fee for a standard site: $200
Current annual hosting fee for an ecommerce site: $550

What is included with the ecommerce setup?
Our Platinum plan includes up to 250 SKUs, but if you need more, your designer can put together a quote for you based on your need. For all of our ecommerce sites we set up payment method, tax, and shipping costs. You will provide all product information and pictures of those products. Our sites also offer the ability to create coupon codes and digital gift cards.
What is a support and maintenance plan?
Our prepackaged plans include unlimited support and maintenance for the first year, no hidden fees, ever. This includes checking on and updating links, updating contact information, making sure content stays current, swapping out or adding images, and more! What is not included: adding new pages to your site. If you have questions or concerns, your designer is available to you via text, phone, email, Facetime, or Skype. Contact them anytime and they will get back to you within 24 hours, guaranteed. We know that a lot can happen in the first year after your website is created, so we want to make sure you get all of the assistance you need to make your website phenomenal.
After your first year, you can choose to go without support or maintenance, or you may choose to purchase a basic, unlimited, or customized support and maintenance plan. An unlimited plan may be too much for some clients and a basic plan may not be enough, which is why we offer customized plans and payments for those who need it. Plus, no pesky automatic renewals which require you to spend hours on the phone with customer service should decide to cancel. Your designer will discuss your options for support and maintenance plans and help you figure out which, if any, is the right plan for you.

What is your refund policy?
Unlike some web design firms, we do not require payment until your website is complete. After you have approved your final revision, payment is due before your site can go live. Your designer will go over this in more detail with you when they put together your contract.
The only exceptions to this are our Premium and Ultimate plans (or any custom plan with logo and/or business card design), which require a $250 deposit before work can begin. This deposit goes toward the final cost of your website. If you decide that you do not like any of the logo designs, your deposit will be held and still counts toward the final price of your website, however, the final cost of your website will be reduced by $125 (in other words, your deposit is 50% refundable). However, once you have signed off on a final logo and/or business card design, your deposit is no longer refundable.
Refunds for annual hosting fees, as well as support and maintenance plans are prorated. For example, if you renewed hosting for one year but you decide to cancel after 6 months, you will receive a refund for the remaining 6 months. Your designer will go over this in more detail with you at the time of your renewal.

What is training on Social Media & Website Maintenance?
In a nutshell, we take our years of experience and pass it on to you. Why waste valuable time researching everything you need to know when you can just pick someone's brain, right? First, we set you up with a login on our portal so you can make edits to your site at your convenience, then we train you on how to use it. Afterward, we show you all the ins and outs of advertising on social media and how best to manage all of your social media accounts as well as how to drive (and track) traffic back and forth between your website and social media accounts.
What are site statistics?
Site statistics allow you to see the number of views your site has, the number of unique visitors, which pages on your site are most popular, and how your visitors are finding you. Once your site is live, we will set you up with a login for our portal where you can access all of your site statistics.
